Funskool's 'gift a toy' project

In an endeavour to reach out to the underprivileged children of the society, Funskool India Pvt Ltd and Concern India Foundation, a non-profit public charitable trust, have joined hands for a noble cause - "A toy for every child".

This project is designed to gift a toy to every child in Chennai during this Christmas and New Year.

As part of this activity, a collection van would be going across schools in the Chennai city and will collect the used toys donated by the school children. Kids can also donate their used toys at the collection box placed outside all "Mera toy shop" stores, the retail partner of Funskool in this venture.

Funskool will give a complementary toy and a 20 per cent discount voucher for every toy donated by the kids which can be redeemed on purchase of any new Funskool toy at all the stores of Mera toy shop.

The collected toys would be distributed by Concern India foundation through NGOs to every underprivileged child in the city. Funskool also plans to extend this activity in other metros in the coming year.

"Funskool has grown to its current stature only because of the love and affection received by the little wonders from all over India. The very idea of our business revolves around kids and hence this festive season we intend to give back the love which we have been receiving, to those who have been deprived from it,” says K. John Baby, CEO, Funskool.

"Funskool will make an initial contribution of 2000 new toys and games for the project. We hope that our sincere efforts with Concern India Foundation will help us bring thousands of smiles on little faces," he added

Schools can be part of this project and donate used toys for the nobel cause and spread joy among the deprived kids. Please contact Madhu at 044: 30262704.
