He said the project has been commenced in the state from Panchkula district in association with Indian School of Business (ISB), Mohali whose faculty and students would visit the village. The students and the staff of ISB presented a street play on the theme of ‘Continuing girl education, sanitation, hygiene and nutrition’ and conducted a counseling session with village residents. “This is a unique initiative wherein ISB would mentor village residents towards adopting a more progressive approach in the upbringing of the girl child. Healthcare related and educational parameters would be the focus of the intervention,” Atray said.
According to PTI, Director External Relations of ISB DNV Kumara Guru said the ISB community comprising its staff, students and their families are spearheading this initiative by undertaking various activities across a span of six months along with the District Administration Panchkula.
