One of the leading NGO in India invites application for the post of : PROJECT DIRECTOR FOR THE COMMUNITY HEALTH INITIATIVE

The position is responsible for the supervision, administration and successful completion of the Foundation’s challenging Community Health Initiative Project in the tribal areas of Thane District in Maharashtra State. Achievement of the targets set forth for the project within the specified time frame is the essence of the job.

The incumbent will oversee the work of the project and its staff at location and build up outstanding relations with officials in the State Government ranging from Primary Health Centre level to the District Collector. The project director must be highly result-oriented and should be willing to live in the town (Palghar) in the project area(100 km from Mumbai).

The incumbent must have adequate experience in the public health field in a senior management position. Success in enlisting community participation is important. Retired active persons with the right attitudes would be acceptable.

This is a senior management position reporting to the Chief Executive Officer in Mumbai.
The candidate will be provide with a Fully Furnished Accomodtion as well as a vehicle for his work . The salary would be in the range of INR 5 to 7 lacs per annum.
