Dr Reddy's Foundation is looking for a CEO

Dr. Reddy’s Foundation (DRF) helps to reach out to the under-represented and underprivileged communities in a focused manner. DRF is a social change catalyst that fosters, develops and promotes initiatives at individual / group / organization levels to promote sustainable social development. Believing in the inherent motivation and capacity of human beings for progress, given the appropriate and adequate environment, the Foundation innovates and tries out novel concepts that are continuously refined and scaled up to cover larger groups of deprived populations.

The major initiative of the Foundation is Livelihoods.

The Livelihoods program (LABS—Livelihood Advancement Business School) is aimed at helping youth without formal education, acquire skills and knowledge to ensure that they become employable in emerging areas of the economy. Till date over 100,000 youth have graduated through this program and over 80% have been placed in jobs.

DRF is looking for a dynamic individual in the capacity of CEO who shall provide the vision and leadership to Dr. Reddy’s Foundation in its efforts to create positive social impact. The incumbent would report into the Managing trustees of Dr. Reddy’s Foundation.

The incumbent would have to work with diverse partner organizations, numerous stakeholders, ensuring timely reporting to the Government of India. The incumbent is expected to display an entrepreneurial bent of mind and sturdy components of patience, maturity; flexibility, strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work under pressure and deliver results through innovative problem solving skills.


RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CEO- Dr. REDDY’S FOUNDATION
• To be responsible for the developing, implementing and streamlining internal systems and processes in alignment with achieving the DRF’s projects vision and mission.
• Planning, organizing, directing, controlling and monitoring of DRF’s operations.
• Implementation of the budgeted activities and reporting on progress to the managing trustees and the Government of India.
• To promote and communicate about the programs & activities of DRF with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide strategic leadership to the organization and managing the personnel of all DRF units.
• Enhance and manage the brand image of the DRF through increasing credibility, accountability and transparency.
• Work closely with the various project partners to strategize on the way forward on the programs of the DRF.
• Lead, motivate, and manage the Human Resources in order to achieve the objectives of the group, and ensure the effective performance of the units.
• Ensure the financial control of DRF’s activities and report accordingly to the Managing Trustee Committee in order to maintain the transparency and financial health of the organization.
• Ensure development, monitoring and evaluation of all division/departmental functions and ensure implementation of approved recommendations, in order to contribute to the improvement and effectiveness of project operations.

MUST HAVE
• A visionary with minimum ten years of experience including 4-5 years as a senior executive in the private sector, government or a non-profit organization.
• Has successfully managed and implemented large multi-stakeholder, scalable programme/business with proven measurable results.
• Excellent abilities to engage with multiple stakeholders, specifically regulatory authorities, government agencies, other non-profit organizations and financial institutions, through leadership and innovation.

PREFERABLE
• Experience of working with youth in rural or semi urban areas on income generation/livelihood programs.
• Post graduate with a management degree.

COMPENSATION DETAILS: The compensation is commensurate with qualification and experience.
