Making socially responsible corporates

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) and Business and Community Foundation (BCF) are jointly organising a two day Management Development Programme on April 22-23, 2008 in New Delhi, India.

Globalisation translates into freedom for markets. With increased freedom comes responsibility. A responsible corporate sector is one, which pays attention to not only short-term profits but also long-term sustainable growth of an economy.

IIFT and BCF believe in the need to facilitate designing, developing and delivering a contemporary Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) course which takes into account the developmental priorities, instrumental in deepening the CSR movement in the country.

The course offers an excellent opportunity for companies practicing CSR, as also those planning to do so, to develop the CSR knowledge base and skills of their professionals who would play an important role in envisioning, planning and implementing the CSR initiatives in organisations in a globalised world.

The programme is meant for Chief Executive Officers (CEOs), senior and middle level managers, in-charge of Human Resource/Communications/CSR, others who manage CSR related dimensions as part of their core operations, senior executives from non profit organisations, international organisations, government agencies, academic institutions, etc.

The interested candidates need to fill up the registration forms. The fee per participant is Rs 15,000, which includes course, venue arrangement, refreshments and certificates and does not include accommodation, local/outstation travel.

Last Date for receiving the applications is April 15, 2008.
